Iosif Stavroulakis was born in Chania in 1966. He studied goldsmithery and attended seminars of gemology and stone carving. His first workshop was set in Chania in 1989, which was moved in "Verekinthos" Arts & Crafts Village in 1996. Since 2011 he continues creating in a new space, which serves as a workshop as well as an exhibition spot, located in the Old Town of Chania. He has participated in various group exhibitions in Greece and abroad. His work has been presented at "Marneri" Gallery, at "Benaki" Museum, at "Mylonogianni" Gallery, at "Dalainis" Exhibition and in distinct spots in Greece as well as in the USA, in Spain and in Italy. |
